Our Story:

MSET FLIGHT SUSTAINMENT, LLC is owned and operated by Mr. Terry Walker. Terry has a 30 plus year career in aviation with emphasis on aircraft modifications, project support, and inspections. He started his career in aviation in 1982 when he enlisted in the US Air Force to serve as an Aircraft Environmental/Electrical Mechanic. His first and only assignment was Little Rock AFB, AR from 1983 – 1992. Mr. Walker participated in Desert Storm and Desert Shield as a C-130E maintenance mechanic in support of the US Army’s 101st Airborne Division. During that time, he was a key contributor to the success of numerous Military Airlift Command’s (MAC) support operations. Upon completion of his commitment to the US Air Force, Mr. Walker chose to separate from the active component and continued his service to the country as a member of Department of Defense contractor, Lockheed Martin’s C-130H programs.

While serving as a Sr. Avionics Technician on various aircraft modifications with Lockheed Martin, Terry quickly established himself as an exemplary technician. His aircraft modifications knowledge was expanded while participating in the KC-10 GPS System modification and the C-5 Avionics Modernization Program. Subsequent assignments included assignment to Sr. Site Representative of production capabilities, resources strategy and execution of C-130J field modification programs. He was selected to be a member of the F-22 Operational Readiness Program at Langley AFB, Virginia; which contributed to the 27th Fighter Squadron becoming the first F-22 operational squadron. Terry accepted an opportunity with CSC Applied Technology’s Nellis AFB F-22 Backshop Maintenance Program and was appointed to manage assigned US Air Force Supply, Facilities, Bench Stock, and Specialized Equipment requirements. Always striving to improve himself with various aircraft platforms, he accepted a position with Bombardier’s business jet service company Flexjet. Terry demonstrated his ability to performed hourly inspections, aircraft recovery, and testing of avionics/electrical systems under FAA Part 91 and Part 135 certificates. Mr. Walker possesses a firm foundation in aircraft manufacturing operations with additional experience in quality processes, supply chain management and sustainment operations. Terry was a proven performer who regularly exceeded internal and external customer expectations.

Throughout the course of his military and government service career, Mr. Walker envisioned building an Aircraft Maintenance Support Services company capable of providing support to both government and civil organizations. In 2014, his goal became a reality with the creation of MSET FLIGHT SUSTAINMENT LLC.
